Biography

Reshat Ameti

He currently works as Professor of paintings, Faculty of Art at “State University of Tetova” – Tetovo, North Macedonia.

President of Association of Fine Arts of Macedonia “DRAUDACUM”.

Born on 16 May 1964 in Gostivar, Republic of North Macedonia.

Graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Skopje in the class of Prof. Ana Temkova, while completed postgraduate studies in 2002 at the Faculty of Arts in Prishtina, in the class of Prof. Rexhep Ferri.

Reshat Ameti is celebrity artist, holding Lifetime Achievement Award in Art and Culture. His artworks are property of many museums, cultural institutions and private collections of world-famous personalities like Nobel Prize winners, world famous writers, Presidents of the States, etc.

2013 – Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Macedonia, Award “11 October” for life’s achievement in art and culture

2021 –  Honorary Member of the Board of Iliria College. Prishtina

2018 – “National Image” Award 16th festival organized by Forum for Image and Media. Academy of Sciences in Tirana

2018 – “Painter of 2018” award, “Year of Skanderbeg” (for Macedonia). Association “Pegasus”, historical museum in Tirana

2018 – International Award “Certificate of Excellence”. For a presented work in the art competition of “29 artavita online”.
